Spencer Perry is a Senior Vice President and CRE Banker III in the Mid-Atlantic region for National Real Estate, a division within the Commercial Real Estate line of business at Truist Financial Corporation. He partners with commercial real estate developers and investors throughout the Mid-Atlantic, delivering a comprehensive suite of financing solutions, including permanent, interim, and construction loans. He also provides access to off-balance-sheet capital through Agency, Life Company, Debt Fund, and CMBS executions via Grandbridge, a wholly owned subsidiary of Truist.

Spencer has more than 19 years of experience with Truist. Since assuming his current role in 2023, he has focused on expanding the firm’s presence across Maryland. Previously, he led a team of in-market bankers serving the financing needs of commercial real estate clients throughout the state.

He is actively engaged in the industry and broader community, currently serving on NAIOP Maryland’s Community Service and Awards Committees. Spencer is a past board member of both NAIOP Maryland and the Community Foundation of Howard County. His contributions have been recognized with several honors, including NAIOP Maryland’s Rising Star Award (2020), NAIOP Developing Leader Award (2019), and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Maryland’s Finest Award (2015).

Spencer holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Marketing from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science in Real Estate from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Outside of work, he is a devoted husband and father of two, and enjoys hiking, running, and golfing.
