Owen Rouse’s career has spanned over 40 years in commercial real estate, serving in both investment, operational, development, and capital-raising capacities at national, regional, and local levels. As a Senior Vice President at MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate, Owen is responsible for transacting investment sales, representing both sellers and buyers of property in central Maryland.
25 years at regional full-service development firm Manekin LLC was preceded by 12 years deploying pension fund capital into commercial real estate via a series of merged entities that operate today as LaSalle Investment Management.
Outside of work, he has taken on roles with local and national real estate trade groups, housing-related non-profits (Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake) and medical advocacy groups (St. Joseph’s Medical Center Foundation, Johns Hopkins Bayview Patient Safety Board). He is a graduate of Leadership Howard County and is finishing a sixth year as a mentor for Urban Land Institute. He is currently co-chairing the Advisory Board for the recently launched undergraduate major in commercial real estate at Loyola University.
Owen Rouse holds degrees from McDaniel College and the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola University in Maryland.
